Our wedding is a small, intimate celebration, surrounded by the people we cherish. While the guest list may be cozy, the love we share with our family and friends is vast enough to fill a stadium.

Q + A

1. What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer: Our wedding will be a small, intimate gathering. We suggest dressy/casual-bordering on elegant, but please feel comfortable! Think of it as an elegant but relaxed celebration. Sundresses, dress shirts, and nice slacks are perfect. As for colors, ladies are asked to wear vibrant colors (no black and obviously, no white –save that for the bride). Men are encouraged to wear jackets, collared shirts and slacks. Please no jeans.

2. Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer: The wedding will be held at Vecoma at the Yellow River located at 4400 Vecoma Lane, Snellville, GA 30039. We chose this cozy, charming location for its intimate feel, perfect for our small gathering. The ceremony is there, the reception is 16.5 miles away at a separate location. It is an outdoor wedding –it’s Georgia (it may be hot). If it’s inclement weather, the wedding will be moved indoors.

3. What time should I arrive?

Answer: Please plan to arrive by 2:30 PM ET so you can settle in and enjoy the beautiful surroundings before the ceremony starts at 3:00 PM ET. As a reminder, Monte is the groom and he is always! Always! Always early/punctual. The ceremony will be brief and then we’re off to another location for the reception. The reception will be a cozy affair, food, drinks, no dancing but speeches, jokes and possibly a light roasting of the bride and groom.

4. Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer: Yes, there is ample FREE (no valet) parking available directly at the venue. Since our guest list is small, there should be plenty of space for everyone. (You know how Melanie feels about paid parking--ha!).

5. Will there be a meal served at the reception?

Answer: Yes, we will be serving a set menu, drinks with variances for those with dietary restrictions and there will be a vegan option. We’ve selected a menu that reflects our favorite foods and we hope you’ll enjoy it! You know Melanie is a picky eater so rest assured any and all sauces will be on the side!

6. Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer: For our small wedding, we’ve decided to keep the guest list limited to adults only. We hope you’ll be able to join us for this intimate celebration.

7. What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer: Please RSVP by 09/12/2024 so we can finalize our arrangements. Given the intimate nature of our wedding, it’s important that we have an accurate guest count.

8. Can I bring a plus one?

Answer: Due to the small size of our wedding, we’re keeping the guest list very limited. We kindly ask that only the guests listed on your invitation attend.

9. Will there be dancing at the reception?

Answer: We’ve chosen to keep things low-key for our small wedding, so there won’t be any dancing (yes, shocker). Instead, we’ll be focusing on good conversation, delicious food, and enjoying each other’s company in a relaxed atmosphere. Speeches, poems, declaration of the love of Monte's impressive golf handicap and light roasting of the couple are welcome.
